Luke Castillo, the hairdresser who takes textured hair to another level.
Adept at curls and coils, waves and kinks (quite a good name for a band), Luke continually comes to light within the hairdressing industry, as his reputation of being brilliant with all textures continues to grow amongst both his contemporaries and clients alike.
Born in North London, Luke who was originally self taught in hair, undertook 7 years of hairdressing experience at the Aveda Institute in London. Rightfully Luke quickly rose through the ranks before breaking in to the session styling and red carpet world, assisting Louis Ghewy on a number of Vogue covers including the British, Japanese, Chinese and American publications.
Luke is also one of the few people lucky enough to have been mentored under the watchful eye of the iconic Subrina Kidd, a genius at hair.
Luke prides himself on his diversity in hairdressing, not only being amazing at the textured curls and coils of afro hair, while equally being adept at cutting finer straighter hair in to a beautiful shape.
A legend in the making, theres a reason a lot of clients know his name.
