The Sirène.
The Sirène.
Saying the most with the least.
You’re not a fan of overly layered hair but your long wavy hair is beginning to feel too heavy; you want soft, fluid hair without the short layers.
The Sirène, the epitome of effortless hair.
Inspired by the iconic ladies who embraced their frizz in the ‘80s and ‘90s, this is the cut with shape, volume and movement – without the need for short layers. The beauty we find is that although the layers and shape are extremely subtle, the effect on the hair is huge.
When you have grown your hair for a long time the idea of having layers can be worrying, yet without any kind of movement cut into the hair - no amount of product or heat will give your hair lasting volume and texture.
Reminiscent of Carré Otis, Julia Roberts and Michaela Bercu, this timeless haircut is built around long, invisible layers that are cut into the hair visually in order to bring the most out of the hair’s true texture. Invisible layers that give you the foundation for a really beautiful shape.
Our approach is mindful that curly and wavy hair can spring up when it’s initially cut.
The front corners of the hair are cut slightly shorter - to emphasise a fluid feeling throughout the hair. Fluidity being key, we carefully cut in the length without inflicting a sharp straight line to the length. The reason being is that typically, without a shape and with blunt ends, long curly hair can begin to look triangular, with flat roots and heavy ends.
Our layers allows intricate details of hair to form around the face, the result is a hair style that is totally versatile… a cut that works in any parting creating beautiful shape to work in unison with air dried, scrunched or diffused natural hair.
We believe that you should never shy away from your natural frizz.
Make the statement bold and simple more than ever towards your natural hair.
If you are looking to keep your length and are ready to embrace your hair and frizz no matter what your age, this is it…
