Born in Delaware, Cassidy lived in Paris for a number of years after her time studying gender studies at University. During her time in the French capital, Cassidy began cutting the hair of her friends as a side hobby. Something she started doing occasionally while studying.

Much like a sculptors hand comes naturally to clay, Cassidy’s scissors danced through hair, knowing almost instinctively how great hair should move without anyone teaching her.

With the encouragement of her friends and family, Cassidy decided to leave her career and immerse herself in hairdressing. Moving to London, Cassidy first undertook training at Vidal Sassoon, where she gained knowledge and built her foundation in precision cutting. Cassidy then moved to New York, focusing on learning dry cutting, razor cutting and hand styling techniques.

Now in London we feel that Cassidy is the perfect addition to the team at Sydney Street, we know she will be a big hit.
